A dynamic, hands-on organization, Community Resource Group (CRG) works in rural areas to expand the opportunities for families to build assets, improve their lives, and strengthen their communities. Our work focuses on the basics: safe drinking water, affordable housing, manufactured home park ownership and access to credit.

For more than thirty years, CRG has successfully crafted innovative solutions and programs across the southern United States, giving rural communities and hardworking families a hand in building a better future.

affordable housing
A family’s biggest asset is their home. From new home construction and home improvement loans to cooperative ownership of manufactured home parks, CRG helps families build a future.
water & waste disposal
Everyone deserves safe drinking water! CRG helps rural communities plan, finance, construct, and manage water and wastewater facilities—every community’s most important asset.
lending
Access to credit is a key to building assets. As a Community Development Financial Institution, CRG’s social purpose lending supports their work in water and wastewater, housing, and transportation.

"No one would lend us money to fix our roof – CRG did!"
